LED Conversion Kit for Maglite Flashlights (325 Lumen, Scratch-Resistant Glass Lens)

The Firefly 325 is compatible with incandescent Maglites, including the newer models featuring narrow retaining rings and a bi-pin bulb adapter, as it comes with its own adapter. To install, simply unthread the old bulb retaining ring, remove the bulb (if your light has a bi-pin adapter, you can pull it out using needle-nose pliers or press down on the metal part of the tower to eject it), and then thread the new LED bulb in its place.

Lumencraft's measurements show the output of this LED bulb is 235 lumens on 2 cells, 280 lumens on 3-4 cells, 290 lumens on 5 cells, and 325 lumens on 6 cells. It is not recommended to use more than 6 cells with this bulb.

This replacement bulb module breathes new life into your trusty old Maglite flashlights, transforming them into a 325-lumen torch without requiring any tools or modifications. The output will vary depending on the number of batteries used, as detailed in the graph in the third picture.

The LED upgrade retains the Maglite's quick focus system. In narrow focus, the hot spot is tight and clear, while in medium width, it produces a large spot with bright spill. However, in wide focus, there will be a "donut effect" in the center spot, similar to the factory incandescent bulb in a Maglite.

The upgrade kit comes complete with a specially hardened glass lens that is more resistant to scratching than the factory plastic lens or traditional glass lenses. This added durability helps preserve the clarity of the light output.

Compared to a standard 45-lumen 3D incandescent Maglite, the Firefly 325 is over 7 times brighter, making it easy to illuminate a large area and see at greater distances. This increased brightness is achieved through the highly efficient Lumius Devices SST 40 LED emitter, which also provides run times of up to 16 hours.

The Firefly 325 is compatible with both new and old incandescent Maglites, including those with MAGNUM STAR BI-PIN BULBS, White Star Krypton, Mag-lite Magnum Star, and Mag-Num Star 2 II Xenon Bulbs. However, it does not fit Maglite flashlights that are already LED-equipped from the factory.
